This is looking fantastic! I really look forward to seeing that fluid simulation, and giving him a bit of a reflection in the wet sand would just be going the extra mile.

That said, I think there are still a few areas where the animation could be improved. The whole thing overall, the posture and gait, seem very natural. The jiggling of the thighs on each footfall are really nice, but by comparison the bit of slightly hanging flesh running down the stomach and between the legs seems a bit static; I'd love to see it jiggle back and forth a tiny bit with each step as well.

Another thing that could take it a step further would be to make it look like it was breathing as it walked. I can't tell if there's already a bit of nostril-flaring/contracting action going on there, but it might be cool to add more of that.

The feet and toes also seem to rotate outwards a tiny bit from the time they're planted to when they lift up again, in a way where they slide along the ground, which I don't think was intentional. Feet do push to the side a bit when walking through sand, I suppose, but I'd think if anything the toes should grip a bit deeper into it as a response. Of course, if this is a multi-purpose walk cycle, not just for a sandy beach, then you wouldn't want them gripping through the ground. The way the toes splay out and curl again with each footfall is really nice!

One last, final thing that might be a bit harder, its shadow currently falls on the waves and everything as if they were a flat surface. I'm not sure how one would go about fixing this; getting the shadow to cast on the moving, rolling frothy wave breaks... there are some times when a bit of white in the foreground should be in front of the part of the water the shadow is actually on... seems like a toughie.

But, that's all I can think of! Really great work, tighten it up with the splashes around the feet and a bit of reflection and it'll be stellar!
